Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 9475 West Sam Houston Parkway about 8:20 p.m. on Sunday (July 28).
The victim, 19, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homide Division Senior Police Officer M. Khan and Officer I. Ulloa reported:
Witnesses reported hearing a single gun shot in the northwest part of the Shadowtree Apartments complex. The victim was found in the parking lot with a gunshot wound. HFD responded to the scene and pronounced the victim dead.
