The RCMP is releasing the names of the two people discovered deceased outside a home in Kedgwick.

On September 1, 2013, at around 9 p.m., police were called to a home on Route 260. When they arrived, they discovered the bodies of a man and a woman outside of the home. The deceased were 64-year-old Raoul Leclair and 65-year-old Nicole Leclair, both of Kedgwick. The two were husband and wife.

The RCMP’s Major Crimes Unit and RCMP Northeast District are both involved in the investigation to determine exactly what took place. Autopsies have been conducted and the police continue to gather evidence. At this point of the investigation, the deaths are considered sudden deaths and police do not believe anyone else was involved.

Further information will be released when the police complete the investigation.
