On Friday, July 30, 2010, at 7:33 p.m., police responded to a call for the discovery of a human body in the Humber River, between Finch Avenue West and Rexdale Boulevard.
Police located a 17-year-old boy near the riverbank.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim has been identified as Andrew Dowden, 17, of Toronto.
A post-mortem examination was scheduled for Sunday, August 1, 2010, at 9 a.m.
