The Manitoba Integrated High Risk Offender Unit (MIHRSOU) is a joint forces unit of the Winnipeg Police Service and the RCMP. MIHRSOU today provides information regarding Winston George THOMAS, 33 years of age, a convicted sex offender who is considered at high risk to become involved in further sexual offences.
THOMAS was released from Headingley Correctional Centre on August 1, 2010. He is expected to take up residence in Winnipeg.
THOMAS has previous convictions for Sexual Assault as well as many other criminal offenses. Although THOMAS participated in some sex offender treatment programs while in prison, he is still considered a high risk to re-offend. Females of all ages are at risk of sexual violence.
