Following a two week joint investigation with Durham Regional Police and Toronto Police, an Ajax resident has been arrested for child porn offences.
Members of the Internet Child Exploitation Section of the Major Crime – Sexual Assault Unit (ICE) with the assistance of DRP members of the E-Crimes Unit and West Division executed a search warrant at an Ajax residence and arrested a male resident without incident for child porn offences.
Odell Bedward, age 23, of Woodhouse Crescent in Ajax is charged with: Possession of Child Pornography; Accessing Child Pornography and Making Child Pornography Available x2. The accused is being held for a bail hearing.
