Southeast District RCMP with assistance of Tri-County Ground Search and Rescue have located the body of a missing man from Saint John, N.B.
The body of the 21-year-old man was discovered at around noon on October 14, 2013, in a marshy area off of Route 100 in Quispamsis.
He was reported missing by a family member to Saint John Police on October 12, 2013 when he failed to show up for work. Search efforts began in Saint John but moved to the Hammond River area near Quispamsis when his vehicle was located there on Saturday night.
The investigation into the cause of death is continuing and will be taken over by Rothesay Regional Police Force as the body of the missing man was found in their jurisdiction. The coroner was also called to the scene and an autopsy has been ordered.
