A fresh video recording has recently emerged on mainstream news depicting Toronto Mayor Rob Ford angrily waving his arms around and making cursed and threatening remarks. The video released on Thursday has further pushed the already troubled Mayor into deeper trouble. In the video posted by the Toronto Star, Mayor can be seen saying “I’ll go f—ing by myself, right in my f—ing underwear. I want to go… I need 15 minutes.” He adds that “F–, when he’s dead, I’ll make sure that motherf—r’s dead. I need f—in’ 10 minutes to make sure he’s dead.”
The Toronto Sun claims to have purchased the video, and posted only a small portion of the recording, revealing that it was being shopped around by someone wanting to make thousands of dollars. According to unconfirmed sources, The Star settled to pay $5,000 for the tape, promising that the money would be used to help with education costs.
The news firm’s editor, Michael Cooke, later revealed that “no one’s getting rich off this video. We paid for it what we would normally pay for a video of that nature of newsworthy, overwhelming staggering public interest.” He further added that “the cost of what you might pay for a good dinner.” According to Mr. Cooke, The Star is completely aloof of who recorded the video, explaining that “If I knew the kind of person or the rank of the person or what his job was, I would tell you. We don’t know. But the truth is, as the whole world is now watching, the video speaks for itself.”
