Calgary man Glen John MacIsaac charged with first degree murder

A second man has been charged in relation to a homicide that occurred in June 2012.

At approximately 9 p.m., on Friday, June 8, 2012, police were called to reports of a man being assaulted by two other men inside a silver Toyota 4Runner in the 1900 block of Southland Drive S.W. The horn of the vehicle was pressed several times during the assault.

When police arrived and circulated the area, they located the vehicle parked in an alley behind the Braeside Shopping Centre, with a deceased man inside.

The victim was identified as Graham Mark Sear, 28, of Calgary

On Wednesday, May 22, 2013, police arrested Christopher Brian Richards, 30, of Calgary, who was charged with one count of first-degree murder.

Yesterday, Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013, officers arrested Glen John MacIsaac, 32, of Calgary. He was arrested without incident at approximately 11 a.m., in the community of Evergreen.

MacIsaac has been charged with one count of first-degree murder.

Homicide investigators believe this incident was drug related. The investigation is ongoing.
