Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 10700 Bissonnet about 11:30 p.m. on Friday (Aug. 20).

The victim, Keisy Marquez, 28, of Houston, suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant D. Ferguson and Officer T. Tyler reported:

Mr. Marquez was driving eastbound on Bissonnet when he was shot by someone from inside another vehicle. This caused Marquez to lose control of his vehicle, which struck a tree and then flipped over in the middle of the roadway.

Witnesses stated the shooting may have stemmed from a disagreement a short time earlier at a Chevron gas station at 11249 Bissonnet. A possible person and a vehicle of interest in this investigation are described only as a black male driving a small, black four-door sedan with chrome rims.
