In a latest interview, Toronto Mayor Rob Ford has expressed his auspicious political ambitions and perpetrated that he aims beyond a second term as mayor of Toronto. During the interview aired on U.S. Fox News’ John Roberts on Sunday, he stated “yes, one day I do want to run for prime minister.” Even though only a small portion of the interview has been aired on the network, it still seems promising. In a defiant tone, Mayor Ford seemed determined at the prospect of a special city council meeting on Monday to vote on a motion to further weaken his mayoral authority.

Speaking about his mistakes during the interview, he alleged that I’m “dealing with it.” Ford elaborated that “I am training every day — I’m in a gym for two hours every day — I am seeking professional help. I am not an alcoholic. I am not a drug addict.” Furthermore, he elucidated “have I made mistakes in my personal life, on my own time? Absolutely. But that’s all they’ve got. If that’s all they’ve got, well you know what, if you want to get nasty, we can get nasty, and I can start digging up dirt on every single one of those politicians down there.”

During another interview that is expected to air on “Anderson Cooper 360&Prime at 8 p.m. on Monday, Ford has discussed how he decided to admit he smoked crack. He stated that “I just had enough. I am sick and tired of all these allegations and all the b***s*** — excuse my words — and that’s all it is. Sorry, I shouldn’t have sworn in front of the kids.”
