The Ottawa Police Service Major Crime Section has confirmed that the suspicious death on Alice Street is Ottawa’s ninth homicide of 2010.
The victim of the homicide is Jennifer Leigh Stewart, a 36-year-old female of Ottawa.
The autopsy revealed that Stewart died as a result of stab wounds she sustained.
The investigation is ongoing.
