Fedja Tomislav Cosic arrested for sexual assault in Brampton

Investigators from the Special Victims Unit are seeking the public’s assistance to help identify any possible witnesses to a sex assault on a 19 year-old Cambridge woman.

On Friday, August 20, 2010, the victim attended a Brampton bar “Manila Bay Bar and Grill”. While at this location, she met a man, who invited her to exit the bar. While she was alone in the company of this male, she was sexually assaulted by the suspect.

Fedja Tomislav COSIC, a 25 year-old male from Brampton, was arrested on Tuesday, August 24, 2010, and charged with one count of Sexual Assault. He was held overnight on a bail hearing, and made a court appearance on today’s date at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.

Officers are continuing to investigate this sex assault, and would like to speak to a possible witness who stopped in the area of the offence, in an attempt to assist the victim. Investigators are urging any witnesses to this incident to come forward as it may assist in the investigation.
