London man James McDowell charged with child pornography related offences

The London Police Cyber Crime Unit received information from Toronto Police Service that a resident in London was making child pornography available on the Internet. 

On November 29, 2013 the London Police Cyber Crime unit executed a search warrant at a Lawson Road residence. As a result of evidence obtained, 27-year-old James McDowell was charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

• Three counts of possession of child pornography, contrary to section 163.1(4

• Accessing child pornography, contrary to section 163.1(4.1)

• Two counts of making available child pornography, contrary to section 163.1(3)

• Production of child pornography, contrary to section 163.1(2)
