Durham Police investigators continue to search for the whereabouts of two Whitby teenagers, believed to be together and elsewhere in Ontario.

Investigators are probing additional leads and are now focusing on areas outside of Durham Region for the potential location of both teens. It is believed they may have accessed public transit or hailed a cab to the Orillia area.

It is believed missing person Thomas Nancekivell may be wearing a gray/brown jacket or hoodie and not a blue/green jacket as originally stated in his description. It appears both teens have access to a limited amount of money.

Investigators now have an updated description for missing person Emily Leonard: female, white, 5′ 4″ tall and 118 lbs. LEONARD was last seen wearing a black thigh-length down jacket with a tapered waistline, glove-like sleeves, a neon yellow toque with CPC purple letters on the front and white/silver DC high top skate boarder type sneakers. LEONARD is believed to be carrying a black and white plaid Roots backpack with two side pockets, small &medium front pockets and standard top zip “Roots” logo printed on front in black.

Update: The two missing Whitby teenagers have been found, safe and sound, in Orillia.
