A Toronto Police Service officer has been arrested and charged.
Constable Gary Gould, 32, with 11 years’ service, is attached to 33 Division.
It is alleged that:
– on Sunday, December 29, 2013, at approximately 5 a.m., a man under arrest attempted to break police property, and spat on the arresting officer
– the officer punched the man several times
He is charged with:
1) Assault
He is scheduled to appear in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Friday, February 28, 2014.
