Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 8800 Scott Street about 7:25 p.m. on Thursday (Jan. 23).
The identity of the male victim, 35, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant A. Vanderbull and Officer T. Branford reported:
The victim was driving a green Chevrolet Trailblazer northbound on Scott Street when he lost control of the vehicle and crossed into the southbound lanes of traffic. The vehicle then went into the yard of a residence and struck a fence and a tree. The victim was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
