The Hamilton Police Service have arrested and charged a Hamilton man alleged to be involved in the making and accessing of child pornography.
Members of the Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit attended a West Hamilton Mountain address after receiving a report from Cybertips.ca regarding written Child Pornography being posted on a public Internet chat site. It is alleged that a Hamilton man engaged in a conversation on-line which constituted the offence of Making Child Pornography. The on-line user was identified as a resident of the above address. Hamilton Police continued their investigation and determined that this individual was also Accessing Child Pornography over the Internet.

Hamilton Police are continuing their investigation with a detailed forensic examination of the computers and devices seized from the residence.
Bail Hearing is scheduled for February 6th, 2014.
