Two men have been charged with arson in connection with two fires in Mainstream, N.B.

On February 10, 2014, at approximately 6 p.m., RCMP responded to a report of two structure fires on an Ashland Road property, a detached garage and a mobile home. The Hartland Fire Department also attended the scene. Both buildings were completely destroyed. No one was injured.

Two Mainstream men have been arrested and charged in connection with the fires. Matthew Johnston, 24, was charged with arson in Woodstock Provincial Court on February 12. Patrick Kevin Boone, 26, was charged with arson on February 13.

Both are scheduled to appear in Woodstock Provincial Court again on February 17, 2014.
