Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run traffic accident at 4500 Lyons about 7:35 p.m. on Saturday.
The identity of the deceased female victim, 41, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant B. Rogers and Officer D. Nguyen reported:
The victim, a pedestrian, was struck by an unknown vehicle at the above location. Paramedics transported the woman to Memorial Hermann Hospital where she was pronounced dead. At this time, there are no known witnesses or suspect(s) in the accident.
