Yesterday marked the two year anniversary of the murder of James Alexander ‘Sandy’ Lyle.

On February 19th, 2012, at 10:45 p.m, a passing motorist observed a body on the side of a road in Montague Gold Mines. The death was ruled a homicide as James Lyle died of a gunshot wound. Police did recover a weapon in the investigation. The Integrated HRP/RCMP Major Crime Unit continues to investigate.
