Ottawa police search for missing elderly man Mervin Visneskie

The Ottawa Police Service is seeking public assistance to locate a missing person, Mervin Visneskie, 64 years old of Ottawa.  He was last seen on Sunday, March 2, 2014 in the area of Panmure Road.

He is described as a white male, 5’10” (178cm), 230lbs (104kg), with a large belly.  He has white/grey short wavy hair, and he wears reading glasses.  It is unknown what clothing he was wearing at the time, but he often wears track pants or leisure style pants.

He is possibly driving a black 2008 Mercedes convertible bearing a personalized Ontario license plate 0SC0B.

The Ottawa Police is concerned for Mr. Visneskie’s personal safety at this time.

Update: Mervin Visneskie, 64 years old of Ottawa, has been located safe and sound.
