An 8 year member of the Hamilton Police Service was arrested and charged on September 21, 2010.
On September 21, 2010 at approximately 11:45 a.m., the officer, who was off-duty, was riding his motorcycle in the area of Wendover Drive, Hamilton and was pulled over by Hamilton Police.
Hamilton Police made the following arrest:
Charged: Douglas SEPHTON, 33 years, Hamilton
Charge: Over .08
Officer Sephton was released on a Promise to Appear and will appear in court on October 5, 2010. The officer has been reassigned to administrative duties.
