The Hamilton Police Service is investigating an assault that occurred on the street in front of Club 77, King William St. and Catherine St. This incident occurred around closing time on Sunday, September 12th around 2:00 a.m.

The altercation took place between the doormen at Club 77 and male black, early 20’s, app. 5’10”-6’ wearing a white checkered shirt and black pants.

Anyone witnessing this altercation should call the Hamilton Police, Detective Joe Stewart at 905-546-3823 or Detective Angela Abrams at 905-546-4129.

UPDATE…..September 23rd, 2010

As a result of the police investigation into this serious assault, the following individuals were arrested on Wednesday, September 22nd and charged with Aggravated Assault.

Charged: Lynden Andersen, 41 yrs. of Burlington
David Sa, 32 yrs. of Hamilton
Wendal Jones, 48 yrs. of Hamilton

All three will be appearing in court today for their bail hearing.

All three individuals were employed by Club 77 as doormen.

The victim in this case remains in grave condition.
