Suspect Guillermo Correa charged with capital murder in relation to two deaths at 1737 North Loop West

Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the deaths of two men at 1737 North Loop West about 10:45 p.m. on Tuesday (April 22).  

The suspect, Guillermo Correa (H/m, 56), is charged with capital murder in the 178th State District Court.  A photo of suspect Correa is attached to this news release.  

The deceased males, 77 and 51, suffered head trauma and were pronounced dead at the scene.  Their identities are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Williams and Senior Police Officer M. Condon reported:  

Correa, who is wheelchair bound, and the two males were roommates at a nursing home at the above address.  According to nursing home employees, Correa did not get along with both roommates and got into an altercation with both.  At some point, Correa struck both men with the arm rest of his wheelchair.  Both males died at the scene.
