Toronto man Rui Qian Chen faces four counts in connection to a sexual assault investigation

The Toronto Police Service is alerting the public to an investigation into a sexual assault.

On Monday, April 28, 2014, at 7 p.m., police received a radio call for a sexual assault in the area of Victoria Park Avenue and Danforth Avenue.

It is alleged that:

– on the evening of Friday, April 25, 2014, a nine-year-old girl was at The Crescent Town Club, a recreation centre.

– she was approached by a man who sexually assaulted her

On Monday, April 28, 2014, at 7:30 p.m., Rui Qian Chen, 63, of Toronto, was charged with:

1) two counts of Sexual Assault

2) two counts of Sexual Interference

He was scheduled to appear in court at College Park on Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at 10 a.m. 

Police believe there may be more victims.
