Nanaimo RCMP are currently on scene of a fatal car crash that occurred on Gordon Rd in Cedar, that claimed the life of an adult male.
The incident occurred at approximately 8:10 AM this morning Friday May 23 and involved just one vehicle. Officers with the Nanaimo RCMP General Duty section are currently on scene and are awaiting the arrival of a Traffic Analyst and the BC Coroner’s office.
Preliminary indications point to the driver losing control of his vehicle along the single lane gravel road then driiving off the roadway and striking a tree.
Further details to be released after immediate family members have been notified.
