Mounties continue to search missing elderly Cumberland man Jamie Sproule

To date the Comox Valley RCMP and Ground search and rescue have not been able to locate a missing 65 year old Cumberland man.

On Thursday of last week, May 29th, Mr. Jamie Sproule went for a walk on Comox Lake road in Cumberland and failed to return. Mr Sproule suffers from dementia and Parkinson’s disease. Mr. Sproule is described as a 6 foot, 200 pound man with white hair and was last seen dressed in a Grey woolly work vest, khaki canvas pants and black running shoes.

Extensive searching has been done in the last known area where Mr. Sproule was believed to have gone with negative results. At this time the Comox Valley ground search and rescue have suspended their search until further information on another search area is received. Family and friends are still actively searching all areas they believe Mr. Sproule could have gone.
