A spokesperson for Montreal Police admitted on Wednesday that a police officer was caught on camera while with a blonde woman, who was sitting on his knee in the front seat of his cruiser, and so he will be disciplined for “completely inappropriate behavior.” Ian Lafrenière explained that there was no nudity or sexuality involved, and admitted that the compromising situation reveals that he was caught by a bypasser on her cellphone.

Lafrenière elucidated that “it’s a question of space” and “it’s impossible to push the front seat back because of the barrier behind it, and the woman is between him and the steering wheel.” Despite that, Lafrenière concluded that the actions of the officer were disgraceful and his superiors are still investigating to find out what he was thinking. He alleged that “we’re trying to find out what happened before and after” and “so far, there have been no victims that have come forward.”

In addition to that, Lafrenière revealed that the force was first informed of the embarassing photo through Twitter during Tuesday night’s hockey game between the Canadiens and New York Rangers, but the police was in disbelief and though it was fake. However, later when the woman who took the photo gave an interview at a radio show on Wednesday morning, and revealed the location of the incident, the police narrowed down the officer to one stationed downtown. The photographer confessed that it looked like the two were having sex because “they were moving up and down.”
