The Chatham-Kent Police Service continues to investigate a retired reverend for historical sexual offences involving school aged male children.

Through investigation, two adult men have come forward with allegations.

Harry Brydon, 65 years, of Harrow has been arrested and charged with two counts of administering a noxious substance and one count of sexual assault dating back to 1986.  He has been released with conditions pending a future court date.

Brydon was employed as a reverend at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 18 Dolsen Road in Chatham between 1984 and 1988 where the victims and their families were members of the congregation.

Investigators want to ensure that there are no other victims.
