Fatal vehicle crash victim in Sydney identified as Surrey woman Christiane Margarete Cempirek

Cape Breton RCMP Traffic Services are releasing the name of the woman who died in a single vehicle collision on Monday morning. 

At approximately 5 a.m. on Monday, RCMP responded to a single motor vehicle crashon Highway 125 in Sydney near exit 8. Christiane Margarete Cempirek, 59, of Surrey, British Columbia, a passenger in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is continuing.
