The Ottawa Police Service is seeking public assistance in locating a missing man. Joel Lavigne is missing and has not been seen since September 8, 2014. He was last seen near Rockwood Street.
Joel Lavigne, 23 years old, is described as a white male, 5’6″ (168 cm), 165 lbs 75 kg), short brown hair, wears glasses with a thick black frame, last seen wearing charcoal grey pants with zippers on them so they can be converted into shorts, a t-shirt and a blue/charcoal grey rain jacket. Lavigne is known to hang out at the Rideau Center, Market area or in Vanier. Lavigne functions at the level of a 13 year old.
