The Hamilton Police Service have arrested and charged a Hamilton man alleged to be in Possession of Child Pornography and alleged to have made child pornography available to others over the internet.
In August 2014, members of the Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit received information from another Ontario Police Service regarding chat room users trading child pornography. Officers in the Hamilton Police ICE Unit and Technological Crimes Unit conducted their local investigation and executed a Search warrant at a Stoney Creek residence on September 24th, 2014. One individual was arrested during the Search warrant and Hamilton Police are continuing their investigation with a detailed forensic examination of the computers and devices seized from the residence.
Charged: – Peter Belitski 26 years of Hamilton
Charges: – Two counts of Possession of Child Pornography
– One count of making child pornography available
