53-year-old Pierre Paul Ferguson of Caraquet, appeared in Tracadie-Sheila Provincial Court today charged with obstructing a peace officer in relation to a murder investigation in the Tracadie-Sheila area on November 7, 2010.

Mr. Ferguson pleaded not guilty and elected to be tried by judge and jury. The preliminary inquiry is scheduled for March 10, 2011.
