Further investigation by members of the Major Crimes Unit has resulted this male being responsible for the additional robberies:
– January 28th, 2008 at approximately 1:00 a.m. at a convenience store located in the 100 block of Keewatin Street
– September 11th, 2008, at approximately 9:45 p.m. at a restaurant located in the 1000 block of St. James Street
– September 21st, 2008, at approximately 11:25 p.m. at a convenience store located in the 100 block of Keewatin Street
– November 15th, 2008, at approximately 8:30 p.m. at a restaurant located within the 1000 block of Notre Dame Avenue
– November 22nd, 2008, at approximately 9:00 p.m. at a restaurant located in the 1000 block of St. James Street
– November 29th, 2008, at approximately 12:30 a.m. at a restaurant located in the 300 block of Portage Avenue
In all of the robberies, the suspect male demanded and received an undisclosed amount of cash prior to fleeing the scene. There were no injuries sustained as a result of these robberies.
The initial investigations resulted in a suspect being identified and warrant for arrest was issued in January 2009, for Walter Darrell Mitchell BRADBURN 31 years of St Claude, Manitoba. BRADBURN has been charged with the following offences:
– Robbery with a Weapon X 4
– Warrant to Arrest (Robbery with a Weapon X 2)
