On Thursday October, 23rd 2014 at approximately 2:05 p.m., Emergency Services responded for a serious three vehicle collision which occurred in the westbound lanes of the Lincoln Alexander Pkwy at Garth Street in the City of Hamilton. The collision, involved a green Chevy Cavalier, a red GMC Envoy and a black Toyota Echo. The 18-year-old male driver and his 19 year-old female passenger of the Chevy Cavalier were pronounced dead at the scene. The male driver of the black Toyota and female driver of the red GMC were transported to the HGH with non-life threatening injuries.
The Lincoln Alexander Pkwy was closed between Upper James and Hwy 403 in both directions for approximately 8 hours.
The names of the victims involved in this collision are not being released at this time as next of kin notifications are still being done.
The Hamilton Police Collision Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate
