47-year-old Uxbridge man is facing multiple charges after a lengthy investigation into the separate and untimely deaths of two family members he was residing with in the family home.

After a lengthy investigation which involved consultation with the medical experts in the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service and the Center of Forensic Sciences as well as consultations with the Crown Attorney’s office, Detectives from North Division arrested the accused at his home in the Uxbridge area on November 2nd, 2010.

The 47-year-old Uxbridge man has been charged with Criminal Negligence Causing Death x2 and Fail to Provide the Necessaries of Life x2.

The DRPS is not releasing the name of the accused as it would identify the two female victims, contrary to the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. The victim’s ages were 72 and 49.
