Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the deaths of two people in an apparent murder-suicide at 14530 Chadbourne Drive about 9:20 a.m. last Friday (Nov. 12).
The victim, Deborah Armstrong, 59, of the above address, suffered gunshot wounds to her back and was pronounced dead at the scene. The suspect, Steven Carl Jobe (w/m, DOB: 11-2-53), suffered an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant T. Ruland and Senior Police Officer T. Tyler reported:
Patrol officers received a call regarding a possible double suicide at the above location. When officers arrived, they found Ms. Armstrong and Jobe deceased. Further investigation revealed both had gunshot wounds. Autopsies will determine their causes of death.
