On December 9, 2014 members of the Manitoba Integrated High Risk Sex Offender Unit became involved in an investigation which led them to a residence in the North End area Winnipeg.
Investigators determined that a male subject to several conditions of a Probation Order allegedly breached his curfew, consumed alcohol and attended to a licensed premise.
As a result, on December 10, 2014, Ernest Joseph Laquette, 56 years-old of Winnipeg was arrested in the downtown area and charged with the following:
Fail to Comply with Probation Order x 3
He was remanded into custody.
