Today marks the 10th anniversary of the disappearance of Leonette Purcell.

On December 16th, 2004, 56-year-old Leonette Purcell of Grand Lake was reported missing by her family. She was last seen on the morning of December 16th at their Grand Lake residence but was not home later in the day when a family member returned home. Leonette Purcell has not been heard from since that day. Items in the Purcell’s home appeared out of place or disturbed. An extensive search in the area of Grand Lake failed to reveal her whereabouts and police believe her disappearance is suspicious.
