A 49-year-old Toronto man has pleaded guilty to three counts of Second Degree Murder in connection with a triple homicide that occurred on Sunday, October 14, 2007, three bodies in a burned-out van was discovered in a rural area in the Township of King.

On Tuesday, November 23, 2010, Bao MAC pleaded guilty before The Honourable Madam Justice Elizabeth Quinlan in connection with the 2007 murder of his four-year-old child, 47-year-old wife and her 22-year-old daughter. Mr. MAC has been in custody since a warrant for his arrest was executed on Monday, November 4, 2007, following a lengthy hospital stay.

Mr. MAC is tentatively scheduled to appear on Tuesday, January 4, 2011, in the Superior Court of Justice in Newmarket for a sentencing hearing.

On Sunday, October 14, 2007 at approximately 11:40 p.m., a man asked a local resident to call 9-1-1 through an intercom system at her residence. When police and fire personnel arrived at the Seventh Concession and Sixteenth Sideroad area, they discovered a van fully engulfed in flames.

Once the fire was extinguished, the two deceased women and child were discovered inside. The cause of death for all three females was determined to be the result of gunshot wounds.
