The investigation into the fatal collision, which involved the death of a Whitby cyclist, has resulted in charges against the driver of the vehicle involved. 

Daniel Neill, age 64, of Ingelborough Drive in Whitby, is charged with: Careless Driving and Operate Unsafe Motor Vehicle.
