Hamilton police arrest Goran Kakamad for Human Trafficking

USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…On Wednesday February 4, 2015 at approximately 7pm Hamilton Police Officers responded to an address on the Hamilton Mountain after receiving noise complaints and reports of ongoing   trespassing.

Once at the residence, uniformed officers spoke with a 50 year old male and 16 year old female.  Officers developed concerns the female was involved in sex trade work as a result of conversation with the two parties and observations made in the residence. 

As a result, the Hamilton Police Service Vice & Drug Human Trafficking Unit was contacted and responded to the residence.

Investigators formed grounds to believe the female was in fact a victim of human trafficking.  While speaking with the female victim, investigators discovered an18 year old male avoiding police detection in a rear bedroom.   

As a result of the investigation, the 18 year old male was arrested for human trafficking related offences and transported to central station.  His bail was opposed. 

The female was removed from the residence and was taken to a safe location.  Resources to assist the female have been provided.

The investigation is still ongoing and additional charges and arrests may occur.

ACCUSED: Goran KAKAMAD – 18-year-old from Hamilton

CHARGES: Trafficking in Persons under the age of 18, Receiving Material Benefit from Sexual Services, Exercise Control, Procuring victim to become a prostitute, Procuring Sexual Services, Living on avails of prostitution, Fail to comply probation.
