Chatham-Kent Police officer Robert Mugridge charged with fraud

The London Police Service has concluded their investigation into a Chatham-Kent Police Officer which had been requested by Chatham-Kent Police Chief Dennis Poole in July of last year.

As a result Sergeant Robert Mugridge has been charged with forty seven (47) counts of Fraud Under $5000 pursuant to Section 380(1)(b) and three (3) counts of Fraud Over $5000 under Section 380(1)(a) of the Criminal Code.

The officer is scheduled to appear in Chatham Court on March 24th, 2015.

The officer remains suspended from duty and will face additional charges under the Police Services Act as the matter proceeds through the Courts.
