The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of the arrest of a former crossing guard.
It is alleged that:
– in January 2008, a crossing guard sexually assaulted a then-17-year-old girl
– the crossing guard was assigned to an intersection in the Midland Avenue/Huntingwood Drive area
On Tuesday, March 10, 2015, the Biagio Valerio, now 78, was arrested. He is charged with:
1) Sexual Assault
He is scheduled to appear in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East on Tuesday, April 21, 2015, 2 p.m., room 407.
Police believe there may be more victims.
