16 year old girl charged for bringing a knife to Chelmsford Secondary School

On Tuesday the 7th December 2010 during the morning hours, a sixteen year old female attended Chelmsford Secondary School while in possession of a large kitchen knife. Another student became aware of the weapon and then advised school staff who in turn contacted police. While conducting the investigation police learned that the student was upset with another student at the school regarding a previous disagreement. The accused’s actions were limited to brandishing the knife.

A 16 yr old female is now charged with one count of possession of weapons dangerous to the public peace, due to her age her identity cannot be released.
