30 year old man dies after loosing control of car in Brampton

Officers from the Major Collision Bureau are investigating a single motor vehicle collision, on The Gore Road north of Castlemore Road, which has resulted in the death of the driver.

On Thursday, December 9, 2010, at approximately 3:21 p.m., the victim, a 30 year-old Brampton man, was seen traveling north on The Gore Road, at a relatively high rate of speed, in a silver 2004 Hyundai. For reasons still under investigation, the vehicle subsequently left the roadway and came to rest in the east-side ditch.

Emergency personnel attended the scene and attempted to provide aid to the victim, but were unsuccessful. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The name of the victim is not being released at this time, as the victim’s family is currently overseas.
