Patrol officers working out of York Regional Police #4 District Headquarters have arrested a man in connection with a road rage incident in the City of Vaughan.

On Sunday, December 12, 2010, at approximately 11:55 p.m., police responded to a 9-1-1 call near the intersection of Jane Street and Rutherford Road after an incident of road rage. The victim was travelling north on Highway 400 when the suspect followed him off the highway. While stopped at Rutherford Road and Sweetriver Boulevard, the suspect produced a knife and made threats towards the victim before fleeing the area.

Later, Patrol officers arrested the suspect without incident at Rutherford Road and Julliard Dive.

CHARGED:
• Glen OCAMPO, 30, of Mississauga

CHARGES:
• Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
• Possession of Weapons Dangerous
• Assault With a Weapon

Mr. OCAMPO remains in custody and will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on Thursday, January 6, 2011
