The Ottawa Police Service, Sexual Assault Child Abuse Section and High Tech Crime Unit have charged an Ottawa man with Possession of Child Pornography and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon. As a result of a separate investigation by the Ottawa Police Drug Unit, the man was also charged with Producing a Substance (Marijuana), and Possession for the Purpose.
As part of the investigation, two Search Warrants were executed at an Ottawa South home on December 11th, 2010, and a male was arrested inside the home.
Richard OSBORN, 45-years-old, of Ottawa will appear in court on December 12th, 2010.
