The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in a Sexual Assault investigation.
It is alleged that:
– on Saturday, January 17, 2015, a 20-year-old man was lured into the basement of a church at 140 St. Regis Road
– the man was sexually assaulted
On Tuesday, April 28, 2015, Nonie Abrece, 33, of Toronto, was arrested. He has been charged with:
1) Sexual Assault
He is scheduled to appear in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West on Tuesday, June 9, 2015, 1 p.m., room 301
He is currently a Deacon at the Mount Zion Filipino Seventh-day Adventist Church at 140 St Regis Road in Toronto.
Police believe there may be other victims.
