Two Calgary teenagers arrested for forcible confinement of a girl

The Calgary Police Service District 4 continues to investigate a Forcible Confinement complaint that was received at approximately 9 pm tonight. A third party complaintant reported a 15 year old female was being held against her will by a male offender. Police were eventually able to trace the victim to a residence in the 2200 blk of 37th St SE.

While the residence was being contained by police the victim ran outside being pursed by a male. The victim was assisted by police units that were at the scene. The male aged 15 who was pursuing the female and another male aged 16, inside the residence, realizing the police were at the scene attempted to evade arrest.

Both Young Offenders were immediately apprehended. However both subjects received minor injuries from police dog contact during the arrest.

The victim appeared physically unharmed through the ordeal.
